Marnel Junior School is situated on the northern outskirts of Basingstoke, approximately 2 miles from the town centre.

To find us, drive along the Ringway North until you reach the Aldermaston roundabout (near the hospital). Follow the signs to Popley. Travel along Popley Way. Turn left into Carpenters Down. Turn immediately right into Shetland Road. Marnel Junior School is on the left hand side of the road.

If you are coming from the Reading direction, go straight over the Tesco roundabout, underneath the railway bridge and take the second exit from the next roundabout (the one with the red men sculpture), into Carpenters Down. Take the next left turn into Shetland Road. Follow the road around until you come to Marnel Junior School on the right. The Junior School is the building nearest the road. Our Post Code is RG24 9PT.

Accessibility Information

Accessible parking is to the right on entering the school gate - a temporary position until the car park alterations are completed by Jan '09, or, alternatively there is a 'drop off' point by the school front gate.

Entry into the building for wheelchairs is not easy at this time until the new entrance porch has been completed in Jan 09, but, with assistance can be overcome.

If assistance is required, to p/s contact 01256 328670 in advance of visiting to ensure someone is available to assist.

An induction loop is available.

A wheelchair accessible service counter and accessible toilet facilities are available in reception.
